Where your data lives

Audio— only on the device that recorded it, in your browser’s local storage. It is never uploaded, on any account, ever.
Meeting text (transcript, summary, speaker labels) — on your device; and, only if you sign in, a copy syncs to your account so search and your other devices can see it.

Export anything, any time

Every meeting page has an Export menu — signed in or not:

Notes (.md) — title, summary, speaking-time stats, and the speaker-attributed transcript as Markdown.
Transcript (.txt) — plain text, speaker labels included.
Subtitles (.srt / .vtt) — timed captions that drop into video editors and players.
Data (.json) — the complete machine-readable record: segments with timings, speaker turns, summary, notes.
Audio (.webm) — the original recording, from the device that holds it.
Everything — all of the above in one click.

Delete anything, too

One meeting, this device — delete it from the meeting list (with undo).
One meeting, your account— “Remove from account” on its cloud page. Removed means removed: it will not quietly reappear the next time a device syncs.
Everything on this device — use Clear local data in the footer of any page.
Your whole account — deleting your account deletes every synced meeting with it.

Why we can promise this

Most tools hold your recordings hostage because their business depends on it. Ours can’t: the recording and transcription run on your device, so the primary copy of your data is already yours. The pledge isn’t generosity — it’s architecture.
